The last year has changed our fashion habits. Instead of elegant styles, we appreciated comfortable and casual clothes such as comfortable tracksuits.

Fashionable “casual”

The lockdown has strongly influenced our purchasing decisions – including also the clothing and accessories category. Forced to work remotely, we swapped suits and jackets for simple but comfortable styles. What does our home office look like? We have appreciated tracksuits, sweatshirts and fitted but comfortable trousers. We have also started to take care of what we wear every day. Regular outdoor activity has become a mandatory part of the weekly schedule. 

The upcoming season sees a growing interest in casual clothing, which is reflected in the new collections. One of Pantone’s colours for 2021 is Ultimate Grey – interpreted as “strength and resilience”. The designers jokingly admitted that their inspiration was also… casual sportswear, i.e. tracksuits.

Ivon – a pastel fantasy

Ivon designers have decided to redefine the classic women’s tracksuit. Instead of the expected greys and typically sporty cuts, the collection features mainly pastel colours. The clothes are made of smooth fabrics without prints, delighting with bold colours. Apart from the classic colours – bottle green, black, beige – there are neon sets in orange and lime shades. Tracksuits with modern, girlish cuts are combined with products which look interesting and elegant. This tracksuit collection is designed for everyday wear. Soft fabrics and knits provide the necessary comfort, while the tailored outfits skilfully emphasize the silhouette.

Tracksuits by Ivon – our choice:

The collection looks comfortable, but very feminine – perfect as an alternative to standard casual outfits. Classic beige, black, grey, powder pink and matte red dominate the colour palette.

Pink tracksuit set – tracksuit and frills? As you can see, this combination is possible and looks really stylish. This set in powder pink is a romantic version of a light, sporty style.
